Residential water charges are based on a pay-for-use system.

Consumption accounts are distributed three times, in October/November, January/February and May/June.
The October/November account will have two components:
(1) A charge for water consumption at the property since the final meter reading at the end of the prior financial year.
(2) The annual Supply Fee (currently $104.00).

Penalty For Overdue Rates And Charges
From 1 July 2002 a penalty charge equal to 10% per annum will accrue on a daily basis on all rates and charges which are overdue for payment.
